When Composer Wyclef Jean asked Leon Lacey to Orchestrate and co-produce all music cues with him for HBO's TV series "The CHI" season 4, Lacey had no idea he would also be recruited and hired as the show's Music Editor, which required him to be accepted into the Union Local 700 Editors Guild. The role of a TV/ FILM Music Editor is a very important and strategic role which acts as the liaison between the Network and Music Composer. Fine tuning all final deliveries of music cues to be properly placed with the motion picture. Season 5 of The chi begins in March 2022, and Lacey has once again been hired as the Music Editor, Orchestrator and Co- Producer.
