A Few months prior, Rodney Darkchild Jerkins hired Leon Lacey to compose orchestral music for Clive Davis' upcoming Whitney Houston Movie/ I Wanna Dance With Somebody just days after finishing full music production services for Infiniti and Buick Car Commercials. As a Music Editor currently Lacey facilitates Showtime Network for The Chi/ episodic television series 2023, 2022 & 2021. Music Editor for upcoming Disney series "The Genius", also up comping series American Tabloid, as well as Music Editor for several up coming film projects such as "Back On The Strip" featuring Wesley Snipes, movie "Viral" Directed and starring Blair Underwood. Music producer for Iyanla Vanzant TV talk show host on Oprah's OWN Network, Lacey daily composes scores and music cues for Disney, Fox, Showtime, HBO, Marvel and TV Networks NBC, ABC, OWN, TV One. March 8th 2020 (post Covid), Maestro Leon Lacey was commissioned by the LA Philharmonic to orchestrate a full show with Gustavo and Yolanda Adams. 2021 composed a full holiday show for the San Francisco Symphony and 2022 Lacey composed orchestrations for the Hollywood Bowl June 19th Festival.
